Stephanie has painted murals large or small on canvas or directly on the walls of private residences & clubs or for musical and corporate events. Murals can be reproductions of photography or any other work of art, or a custom design. Trompe l’oeil: a French term meaning, “to fool the eye”. Trompe l’oeil refers to a style of painting that is almost photographically rendered so that the viewer believes that the scene depicted is real. This technique is especially effective when used to simulate architectural elements on walls, ceilings or floors.

Stephanie has painted wall murals for kids’ rooms with fume free acrylics. Her mural at the Carlyle hotel is an example of a mural done separately and affixed to the wall. This commission had to blend into the art deco style of the residence and it was created the view of New York City from the hotel.
